I found the staff at Tile Showcase to be very helpful. As with most businesses Saturdays can be hectic- so if you are unsure what you want- go during the week when you can take your time. The outlet downstairs isn't large but there are great bargains to be found. And don't overlook upstairs. There are great prices there as well. My consultant Stephanie was a dream to work with- and found a great tile in my budget that made my vanity top pop while making sure it was kid friendly for slippery feet. Plus she had excellent advice on grout, tile design, and just a calmness about her that put me at ease during this crazy bathroom renovation. Great prices! And that makes my wallet and husband happy!
The team at Tile Showcase is amazing. They recently helped my wife and I with tile for our kitchen and bathroom renovations. We worked with Rene for design. The feedback she provided was invaluable. This was a first renovation and we really didn't think of a lot of things that she brought up throughout the process. So we really appreciated her guidance. She gave us a lot of samples to bring home to try out in the light in our home. When we were ready we were able to call her and place our order over the phone. It arrived when our contractor was ready for it with out any issues. We thought the pricing was on par or slightly less than other suppliers in the area but were blown away with the amazing customer service. If ever we need tile again, we will certainly be back to Tile showcase.
My experience at Tile showroom was top-notch! The salespeople had a great design sense and complete knowledge of each product. Having been to other tile establishments , I found the tiles for the look AND budget i wanted at Tiles Showcase. The salesperson completely stayed within my budget parameters and provided great options and design ideas that subsequently became my gorgeous kitchen back splash. When it’s time to redo my bathroom, my first stop will be Tile Showcase. No more messing around with the “other” guys!!
Christine Jellow provided a superb professional expertise that included an artist's eye and an important sense of practicality. Christine helped me navigate options resulting in an absolutely stunning choice for the backsplash in my kitchen.
I worked with Christine on a recent bath renovation and she was by far the most helpful and friendly associate I have encountered at Tile Showcase. her warm personality made her a pleasure to work. I will definitely work with Christine again when I begin my second bath.
Alba has been amazing to work with! From the start she was always very helpful and patient with me, with my numerous visits to the showroom. She helped and made many suggestions until she and I knew we made the right choice for each selection. I would highly recommend her and enjoyed working with her.
Having done our Weston house 10 years ago with Alba, who at that time worked at Speen Street, Natick location, we came back to see her at your Waterfront store. Alba has a great sense of aesthetics, her strength is being able to visualize the end result. Much more so than your "run of the mill" sales associates elsewhere, with all due respect to them. We look forward to coming back in the next few months for another project in Charleston/Boston. Thank you and see you again!
The Tile Showcase showroom was by far the best display of tile and stone in all of New England.
Working with Tile Showcase is always a wonderful experience! The showroom salespeople have extensive knowledge of each and every product they carry, not to mention great design sense to help pull together schemes and design elements that can aide in my presentations to clients. The staff is always pleasant to work with, extremely efficient, and always willing to follow-up, expedite, and communicate.
All the staff was very helpful and courteous. My wife and I were unsure of exactly what we wanted but by the time we left, we had our dream bathroom tiles! Thanks alot!
We have known Rene' Yang, Design Consultant at the "Tile Showcase", since working with her at the Natick Store. She was extremely helpful in the selection of tile and always giving us design ideas to help complete two bathrooms and a fireplace surround. Rene' has been great to work with and always supportive as our own designs evolved. Every detail has been covered to make our remodeling experience both successful and enjoyable. 5 stars for Rene'!
We have worked with Christine Jellow at Tile Showcase for several years as she has designed three bathrooms, a kitchen and a foyer for us. Christine instantly "got us" - she quickly understood our design aesthetic, was able to work within our budget and, importantly, knew when to push us to be just a little more adventurous. Her attention to detail and very specific plans made installation a breeze. Besides all of her skill and knowledge, she was able to turn what could have a stressful process into one we actually enjoyed. In addition, customer service (Claire) could not have been better. Without reservation, we would recommend Christine.
We came into Tile Showcase with an idea , and left with another. Jayne was our associate and just loved her ideas, she made it so simple and fun. I give them a 5 star!
I live on the cape and called to see if they had any large, gray colored tiles in the warehouse before making the trip up to Watertown. Claire was so...
I have worked with Christine Jellow and Tile Showcase on many projects over the years. While they have a well-stocked showroom, Christine has also been able to track down special order tiles for me and make me look good to my clients. Her smart, friendly style makes dealing with her and Tile Showcase a pleasure.
Alba was very friendly and helpful in guiding me to aesthetically attractive tiles within my budget. Very happy with our experience and would shop here again. Thank you!
Great customer service. Great website.
Christine has been EXTREMELY helpful and patient as we have worked with her to tile 2+ bathrooms. Her knowledge and vision have been appreciated.
We have been to 4-5 Tile Showrooms- for advice, interest, expertise, plus price this is head and shoulders better than anyone else. Alba was a great help - We will be back next year.
We enjoyed looking at the variety of tiles! There are some beautiful patterns that look like art. We are receiving great guidance on the particular tiles we will use for our bathroom floors and walls.
Alba and the showroom are outstanding. The quality & selections are just unbelievable. Your selection are so different. I can't believe a tile showroom could make me so happy. It took Alba 2 minutes top to find the perfect tile!
Good choices, quality product, experienced/personable sales representatives. They sealed the deal.
Great experience in the warehouse. Agree that getting the attention from the upstairs showroom may be challenging but with an appt it makes a difference. They warn you that Saturday's are busy...make a weekday appt or plan to walk through for ideas on a Saturday. There is a reason they are busy, they have terrific stuff. Shopping the warehouse after walking through the showroom was perfect. I already knew what I wanted and Claire who works in the warehouse on Saturday's is about the best person out there. Wish I had another project so I could go back. She was helpful, responsive on the phone and email and very thoughtful. Best of luck to anyone shopping...I'll be back.
I thought this place was Big Bucks but I've actually found the slate backsplash and kitchen flooring there for a lot less than anywhere I'd looked (for the sort of tile I needed). I was on a tight budget and found backsplash for about $3/sq ft there. But yes, like all other stores, they carry the higher ends items, too. They are REALLY busy on Saturdays, when people who work can go and shop so don't expect relaxed face time unless you have an appt....they can move pretty briskly on Sats. Go during the day, if you need more time with a sales person. I have a relationship now with Stephanie, and she knows me (she's really helpful and remembers what I've been looking at/looking for) but she can't always stand and chat if I just show up. You need to give your name at the desk and then hang out to wait your turn...and that can be a drag. so, just be advised.Make sure to visit other stores too, before going here. (I've been to about 15 in the Boston area!) The atmosphere is just different. I found I was totally ignored at most of the other tile places, cuz I guess I don't look like I'm rich! But in other places, you can flip thru zillions of tile cards - here, the tile cards are the actual tiles on a wall. You can take them down, move them around, room to room, and when you bring home a sample to hold up against something, it's the real tile that abuts the walls/cabinets, not the cardboard. So you really see what the tile will look like near paint/wood, etc.Oh, loads of free parking in the back. U don't have to park on-street and during the week (not sat...boo) they have a clearance room downstairs. Also, they are within blocks of two or three other tile places, and down the street from Home Depot. The tile I found, btw, was much nicer and cheaper than what I found at Home Depot...or online.**one other thing, their warehouse is in Natick and is NOT open on Saturday. That sucks. Thus the 4 stars, not 5.
